ClearLight Biotechnologies (formerly ClearLight Diagnostics, LLC) was founded in 2015 by Karl Deisseroth MD, PhD, the inventor of CLARITY, Optogenetics, and STARmap technologies. It is an early-stage company focused on developing automated instrumentation and associated reagents to simplify and expedite non-destructive 3D tissue analysis to facilitate preclinical and clinical research applications. The platform will enable an end-to-end solution for 3D analysis of preclinical and clinical models of disease. 

 

ClearLight Biotechnologies mission is to revolutionise the diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive treatment of disease by enabling next generation technologies for non-destructively processing and digitally analysing tissue in 3D.

THE CHALLENGE

ClearLight Biotechnologies were trying to identify potential customer leads for their group, so they wanted a partner with the ability to source them, allowing them to filter and capitalise on them. 

 

Fundamentally, ClearLight Biotechnologies needed someone to help them work more efficiently, while expanding their marketing without having to dedicate much of their time to those efforts.

THE SOLUTION

ClearLight Biotechnologies internal marketing team handles their inbound marketing, so Growthonics produced a strategy that would identify customers the client wasn’t aware of. Historically, ClearLight Biotechnologies also had more success with small companies. Growthonics set out a lead generation strategy to identify small startup-stage potential clients. We also set out a strategy to identify larger companies, but those are easier to find than the smaller ones.
